HR Corner

Hello Setex team members. I hope this letter finds you and your family well. Thanks to all employees for helping make the transition back to work as smooth as possible. As we settle into our new norm, it’s essential that we follow all of the protocols to keep us safe. The health and well-being of our employees is of the utmost importance to Setex. The new daily two-step process as mentioned below is a daily self-acknowledgement questionnaire that is located at all employee approved entry points. Please take a moment to review the questions daily before entering the building. If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions, you will not be able to enter the building until you have completed a further assessment by HR. We look forward to the day that we no longer have to do temperature checks and wearing face covers. We will continue to communicate all important notices through this site and through the one-call-now system. Please check this site frequently for updated information. Stay safe and be sure to reach out to any HR representative if you have any questions or concerns

Covid-19 Case Updates

As we navigate through these trying times, our goal is to ensure that employees receive important information about current conditions at Setex. We also ask that all employees do your part to keep the Setex family safe. Please stay home and call HR if you are experiencing any of the Covid-19 symptoms. Below is an update of Covid-19 cases for all locations. If there is a positive case, contact tracing will be conducted. Employees / contract workers who worked less than 6 feet for greater than 15 minutes (accumulation of time) will be notified and will be required to leave the facility to be tested. In order to protect employee’s personal health information, there will be no plant wide announcements regarding positive cases. Please see HR if you have any specific questions about notifications.

Covid-19 Q & A

It is important to Setex that you stay informed and get your questions answered about Covid-19. If you have any questions, please feel free to send an email to scott.a.rosenbeck@adient.com (please type Covid question in the subject box when sending an email) or drop your questions off to the HR department. The Covid-19 team will review the questions and will provided answers accordingly. Please check this section for any updates.

Question: I heard that an employee that works in my building tested positive for Covid-19. Why wasn’t I told about it?

Answer: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Setex/Adient has implemented company wide protocols to help reduce the risk of community spread of the Coronavirus. If we learn that an employee / contract worker has tested positive for Covid-19, the person is told to stay home and self-quarantine until they are cleared by the health department or their health care provider as fit for duty and cleared to return. Setex will interview the employee to identify who they were in close contact with (Less than 6ft for greater than 15 minutes). Job rotation sheets are also reviewed to determine if there is any risk. Any person identified through contact tracing will be asked to stay home, self-quarantine and get tested. If their test results are negative, they are cleared to return to work. If the test results are positive, they would be required to self-quarantine until they are cleared by the health department or their health care provider. We would go through the same contact tracing process with that employee. In order to protect an employees/contract workers personal health information, Setex will not make a plant wide announcement about positive cases. This is all done through contact tracing.

New Daily Two Step Process

Setex will be implementing a visual self acknowledgement questionnaire at the entry points that all employees will be trained to and must comply with on a daily basis. By entering any Setex facility, you attest that you have read and answered no to the five questions on the survey (Download the Two Step Process Questionnaire below). If you answer yes to any of the questions, you will not be permitted to enter the facility until a further assessment has been completed by Human Resources.

401K Loans

Notice: Employees who had an outstanding 401k loan through the Setex Tax Deferred Savings Plan prior to going off on layoff/Furlough, will likely receive a letter from Fidelity, informing you that your loan is delinquent. The reason why your loan is delinquent is due to your payment stopping while you were on Layoff / Furlough status. These loans will be re-amortized by Fidelity and new loan payment will reflect on your future payroll checks. Please call the Setex Human Resources department if you have any questions.
